Health Improvement Practitioners & Health Coaches - Jay & Raewyn
Their services are free for all registered patients
Our team provides Te Tumu Waiora service-based behavioural and mental health support for all age groups. HIPs and Health Coaches provide support for people with concerns about mental health, addiction, long-term conditions and general wellbeing.
Services Include:
- Registered with South City Health
- HIP see all referrals from GPs (15m)
- HIP can see within 1-2 days
- Those with issues around with HIP or HCC trial. We are generalists and will work with anyone about anything even if we don't know how we will find out. What we do but are not limited to:
- Chronic pain
- Low Mood/Anxiety and stress/identity issues including cultural, sexual and gender
- Difficult life problems
- Family and relationship concerns
- Coping skills/Support with harmful behavior and addiction • Nutrition and lifestyle advice
- All mental health concerns (from to look at HIP or HCC new medication) Watch them hand over from Doctors to Nurses. Self-referral (limited hours). On the premises next door with Nurse Natalie Counselling NZ. We also have South City Dietist and South City Pharmacy in that front area
Clinical Pharmacist

Our Clinical Pharmacist provides expert medication reviews and advice to ensure you get the most from your prescribed medications.
Medicine reviews can include:
- Understanding how your medicines work and why they are prescribed
- Discussing problems with your medicines or unwanted side effects
- Understanding any potential drug interactions
- Managing diabetes and the options for management
- Understanding how medicines used to manage diabetes work

Our allied health services are located on-site for your convenience. You will also find a direct walkthrough to South City Pharmacy from the clinic. Our podiatrist is based within the premises as well. Next door, you’ll find Counselling NZ, and nearby are South City Dentist and Amazon Beauty, located at the front of the complex
